Format for Review Course for Principle and Practice Examination (PE) in Chemical Engineering 42-hr Internet

Format for 42-hr Course:

1. Instructor handout for the first subject will be sent to the student prior to course date. Handout will contain solution to the problems.

2. Instructor will cover briefly the related theory and will solve most of the problems.

3. Instructor will respond to any point, step, approach that needs clarification, or any comment that needs explanation, or any question that needs answer, regarding handout.

4. Instructor will assign certain problems as home work.

5. Handout for next subject will be given at the end of a meeting.

6. A take home examination will be given to the student prior to the last meeting .

7. Upon receipt of student's solution, instructor will issue a certificate of completion.


Format for Internet Course:

1.    Instructor handout (hard copy) will be sent to the student prior to course date. Handout will contain solution to the problems.

2.    Student will go through handouts and solve all problems.

3.    For any point, step, approach that needs clarification, or any comment that needs explanation, or any question that needs answer, regarding handout, student shall use e-mail. If it is really inconvenient for a particular situation, student may use facsimile.  Students are also welcome to meet in person for three hours on Saturdays, provided there is no conflict with other ongoing classes.

4.    An examination will be sent to the student with the last handout.

5.    Upon receipt of student's solution, instructor will issue a certificate of completion.
